There's a story behind everything we make...
Everything we make starts life as a piece of something damaged, broken or just generally considered only fit to be thrown away - beautiful vintage china plates that have cracked or chipped, colourful bottles and broken antique stained glass from stripped out windows or offcuts from new handmade glass. Each piece is cut and shaped by hand, then put into a big tumbler and churned in sand and pebbles for about a week until smooth and frosty (like the beautiful sea glass and pottery you sometimes find when walking on the beach). Finally the glass and china is ready to start its new life and is made up into a finished piece of jewellery or homeware.
